During a decontamination your spa will have a full services plus we will fill and drain down flushing through the spa as many times as required whereas a full service only covers one drain. Hibernation

Hibernating your tub correctly is important to ensure no water is left in the pipe work. Leaving water in the pipe work can cause cracking off the pipes in cold conditions and also will allow bacteria to grow and spread inside the pipes. During a hibernation we will flush the spa threw, drain and then hoover leaving your spa water free and ready to refill when needed. Our technician will then clean the hard cover and wrap your spa leaving it protected while out of use. Our Hibernation is charged at £175+.

FAQ’s

How often does the water need changing?

We recommend your water is changed once every 3 months as-long as your correctly balancing the water and staying up to date with your chemicals. Water changing must be done properly draining the spa and hoovering out any remaining water. If you don’t do this properly and water is still hiding in the pipe work, the new fresh water will be mixing with the old dirty water. Which is a way for bacteria to remain and grow.

How Ofter should I be cleaning my filters?

We recommend you clean your filters once a fort night depending on use. Heavily used spas should clean filters once a week. Soaking of the filters is recommend once a month. Also having 2 sets of filters that you rotate once a month will help insure you clean and rest your filters increasing there lifespan.

How often do I need a service?

We recommend you service your spa annually this helps you stay on top of the spas maintenance and is a great way to help fight bacteria. During a service your spa will be flushed threw and cleaned inside and out making sure we kill the hidden bacteria. Also a full test is carried out on your components making sure everything is working right and safe.

How can I keep my water clean?

This is the question we are asked the most and the solution is down to you. Make sure you stay on top of your chemicals balancing your water and cleaning your filter regularly. Before anyone uses the spa we recommend they shower washing of any lotions, gels, fake tans, make up and body oils. Rinsing swimming costumes with water as detergents can cause problems is also a number one tip. Changing of water every 3 months.
